She survived 48 days in the outback to be crowned winner of Australian Survivor: Brains v Brawn. 

And before and after photos show the effect those weeks of endurance had on Hayley Leake's body.

In a photo posted to her Instagram account on Sunday, the pain researcher, 31, showed off her insanely shredded physique during a challenge.

Hayley rocked a very toned tummy and muscular arms in the photo, for which she donned tiny green shorts.

It was a contrast to earlier images of the academic, who during the course of the show switched tribes from Brains to the Brawn camp.

Hayley stunned her competitors to rise to the top of the heap on the reality TV show, culminating in her win on Sunday night's finale.
