Barbara Windsor's widower Scott Mitchell has confirmed a memorial event is being planned for her next year.
The EastEnders actress died in December 2020 aged 83 following a battle with Alzheimer's disease and only 30 people were allowed to attend her funeral in January due to Covid restrictions at the time.
Speaking to The Mirror, Scott confirmed a bigger event is being planned for 2022 so friends and family of the star, who played Peggy Mitchell on the soap, can celebrate her life.

He said: 'I'm definitely getting something together for next year. I have to give myself time - it's only been nine months since she passed. I'm still processing it.
'But there will be something next year. We'll make sure all her friends who couldn't be at the funeral can get together and remember her.'
