Drugs kingpin Harvey Gaskell suffered a nasty cut to his forehead as actor Will Mellor was spotted filming dramatic scenes escaping from a prison van on Monday.
The injured villain, who was thrown behind bars after his criminal ways were exposed by Leanne Battersby, was seen breaking out of the vehicle in handcuffs, hinting he could be set for an unwelcome appearance on the Street.
Harvey was jailed after Leanne decided to team up with police to protect her son Simon from becoming one of his drugs mules, with his fate left up in the air as viewers never learned the full length of his sentence.

In the scenes, Will could be seen sporting a bandaged hand and a prison tracksuit as he was climbing out the van.
He also had fake blood covering the side of his face and his clothes were left wet after it had been raining during the takes.
Some of the pictures showed him climbing out of the side of a prison van which had tipped over during an accident in the bad weather.
