Speaking out: Maura Higgins, 30, has shared photos of the moment a stranger 'grabbed her arm' and 'tried to pull her towards his vehicle' in a bid to raise awareness of street harassment
Alongside the images Maura wrote in full: 'Here is an image of me leaving a venue after the NTAs – this guy that I have never met in my life grabbed hold of my arm and tried to pull me back towards his car.
'As you can see I'm smiling and the reason being is because pictures can be portrayed very differently, i.e. if I was to shout in ager at this guy, the headline might have been ''Maura gets violent after night out''.'
Sharing a second photo of the incident in which she could be seen pulling her arm from the stranger's clasp, she added: 'Luckily I had two girls walk with me to my car and I would NEVER leave a venue alone at night because of this
