While the respective couples looked friendly with each other, Bieber (née Baldwin) sported an uneasy smile as she saw her ex-boyfriend, 23, who was her date to the 2018 Met Gala.
Shutting down any tension, Cabello, 24, greeted the couple with a sweet hug, before asking: 'Hi, how are you? Good to see you!'

After warmly embracing Hailey, the Havana singer gushed that Justin's VMAs performance on Sunday was 'great.'
Mendes goes on to hug the Biebers in "Vogue's Get Ready for the Met Gala video with him and Cabello, then asks the Sorry hitmaker: 'Hey, bro. How are you?'
'Really good,' the pop star replies, to which Mendes responds: 'Yeah?'
