After weeks of rocking a pregnant belly on social media, Lil Nas X finally 'gave birth' to his highly-anticipated debut album Montero on Thursday evening.
In a dramatic YouTube skit, the 22-year-old hitmaker's water breaks and he is whisked away to hospital, where he welcomes his next musical chapter into the world.
As if dropping an entire album were not enough, Lil Nas X also premiered the raunchy That's What I Want music video, featuring an homage to Brokeback Mountain and a surprise cameo from Billy Porter.

Montero, which comes after the success of his 2019 EP 7, features cameos from pop rock songstress Miley Cyrus and rapper Megan Thee Stallion.
Before the album launched, fans were treated to a one hour pre-stream that saw the singer take on several different goofy characters as he looked back on his past music videos.
At the very end of the stream, a very pregnant looking Lil Nas X writhes around in pain before having his water break on air, which leads to him getting taken away in an ambulance.
It then cuts to the Call Me By Your Name singer resting atop a gurney as two doctors hovered above him and reassured him that the birth would go smoothly.

Once in the hospital room, Lil Nas X pushes and pushes until the vinyl version of Montero makes its way out of him.
'Oh my! It's beautiful! Congratulations!' exclaims one of the doctors as the trio look on at the album in awe.

Directly after the dramatic pseudo birth, fans of Lil Nas X were directed to another YouTube link that hosted the music video for his lead single That's What I Want.

The nearly three-minute music video opens on a high school football field and surrounding bleachers packed to the brim with cheering attendees.
