Drew Barrymore paid homage to some of the most famous movie moments in a new promo for season 2 of her eponymous talk show.

The 46-year-old actress hilariously channeled Meg Ryan to recreate the iconic deli scene from When Harry Met Sally and went to play other characters from classic films.

'Our love letter to New York via movies we love,' Drew wrote in the caption of the clip that she posted to Instagram on Tuesday.

The funny scene took place in a replica of Katz's deli from When Harry Met Sally. Barrymore looked like the spitting image of Meg Ryan's character Sally as she donned a gray cardigan over a white button-down shirt with her hair styled in a blonde perm.

A voiceover said, 'With her signature passion and appetite for life...'

Ross, in the role of Billy Crystal's Harry, and Drew then recreated the hilarious deli scene in which Sally loudly fakes an orgasm while eating a sandwich, prompting a woman sitting nearby to tell the waiter, 'I'll have what she's having.'

As she bit into the sandwich, Drew threw her head back in ecstasy and shook it from side to side. She cried out, 'Mmmm, this sandwich is so good. It's so good! It's the best sandwich I have ever had.'

Designer Mikael Welch, who played the deli patron, then told a waiter, 'I think I'll have one of those. As a matter of fact, I'll have a double.'

The video opened with Drew taking on the role of Melanie's Griffith's character Tess McGill from Working Girl.

A voiceover started with 'This season on the Drew Barrymore show, one working girl takes on the world.'

Clad in a 80s-style blazer with shoulder pads and with a teased blonde hairstyle, Barrymore rested her hands on the railing of a ferry as she gazed over the New York skyline in a scene reminiscent of the movie's opening credits.

Drew turned to face comedian Ross Matthews, who was playing Harrison Ford's character Jack Trainer.
