Liam Payne has hinted that talks for a One Direction reunion will happen 'sooner rather than later.'
The singer, who performed at a star-studded charity concert for The Wanted's Tom Parker on Monday, revealed he had spoken to his former bandmate Louis Tomlinson about the band's future.
Since One Direction went on hiatus in 2016, fans have been calling for the group to reunite, and many were disappoint that they didn't come together for the band's 10th Anniversary in 2020.

Asked about whether a 1D reunion could be on the cards, Liam told The Mirror: 'I spoke to Louis about it and we were saying it has to be sooner rather than later.'
Liam joined a star-studded lineup who took to the stage at the Royal Albert hall for Tom Parker’s Inside My Head in aid of Stand Up The Cancer, after the singer was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour.
Since 1D began their hiatus, Liam, Louis, Harry Styles and Niall Horan have pursued solo careers, but fans have repeatedly called for the group to reunite.

In June, Simon Cowell claimed he could get the group to perform together again, 11 years after forming them on The X Factor.
He told The Mirror: 'I think it will happen. If they got together, whether it's making records again or touring, it would be the most amazing thing.'
After Zayn Malik split from the group in 2015, the remaining members, Harry, Niall, Liam and Louis recorded a fifth album before announcing an indefinite break in 2016.
Simon added: 'If I could get into a room with them and just say, "You know what, whether it's six months or something, I think you'd have such a great time" – maybe I could persuade them.'
