Kim Kardashian is set to host Saturday Night Live for the first time, hoping to attract audiences after the show marked record low ratings last season.

The reality star, 40, will try to flaunt her funny side when she takes the reins on October 9th with musical guest Halsey.

Kim poked fun at herself while announcing the news on social media, writing 'No turning back now!!!! LOL.'

SNL is probably hoping Kardashian will be a big draw for ratings, which slumped to their lowest point in a decade last March, according to Showbiz 411.

After Kim, newbie Rami Malek will host October 16 with Grammy winner Young Thug taking care of the songs.

And comic veteran Jason Sudeikis will have a homecoming of sorts when he hosts on October 23rd.
