Following a rather shocking twist in the Season 3 premiere of FBI: Most Wanted, Kellan Lutz confirmed on Instagram that he is leaving the show.

Tuesday night's premiere episode was part of a three-hour crossover with the network's FBI and new series FBI: International.

The show revealed Lutz's character, Special Agent Kenny Crosby, was shot in the stomach and fighting for his life in the hospital, with Lutz, 36, taking to Instagram on Tuesday night and confirm he's leaving the show to spend more time with family, following a tough 2020 where he lost his daughter after wife Brittany Gonzales suffered a miscarriage.

His Instagram post featured a number of photos from the Tuesday night crossover, including one of him in the hospital with Special Agent Jess LaCroix (Julian McMahon from FBI: Most Wanted) and Special Agent Maggie Bell (Missy Peregrym from FBI) watching from outside his hospital room.

The post also featured some candid behind-the-scenes shots and stills from the show, while Lutz, who played Crosby for both seasons of FBI: Most Wanted, explaining why he was leaving.
