James Marsden is praising his Dead to Me co-star Christina Applegate for her strength in a recent interview.
Marsden, 48, was promoting his new movie My Little Pony: A New Generation, which debuts on Netflix September 24, when he was asked about his 49-year-old co-star, who revealed in August she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (M.S.).
During his interview with Entertainment Tonight, Marsden revealed how much he admires his co-star.

'That is her character. It is just who she is. Nothing is going to keep her down and she is going to battle and fight through anything and I admire her as a person,' Marsden began.
He added she is, 'a compassionate, wonderful human being who is fun to work with but is also, in addition to that, anything that life will throw at her, she will figure out a way to not let it keep her down.'
