The Block's Mitch Edwards and Mark McKie have lashed out at the harsh comments and critiques by the judges about their kitchen ahead of its reveal on Sunday.

In a promo released on Thursday, they appear blown away by the criticisms made by judges - Shaynna Blaze, Neale Whitaker and Darren Palmer - about their kitchen before storming off the set.

Fans heaped praise and encouragement on the pair in the comments section of their Instagram on Wednesday, and Mitch and Mark did not shy away from sharing their thoughts either.

One said they were 'not impressed with the judges comments', to which the Block Faves replied: 'We called on our resilience to get through and manage the emotional effects of some commentary.'

A second asked them why the judges appeared to have been 'so harsh' and 'have it in' for the two this season.

They responded: 'We tried to understand but couldn't work it out...it nearly broke us... it felt so abusive... to protect ourselves emotionally we had to ignore them.'
