The unofficial 'dress theory' has been doing the rounds among Bachelor fans for years, and one former winner has shared her take on it.
The theory goes that the Bachelor will always pick the woman wearing the lighter-coloured dress in the season finale.

Bachelor fans will recall Irena's victory complicated the dress theory somewhat as she won Locky's heart despite wearing a darker, leopard-print dress.
'I didn't know what I was wearing until the morning of finale,' the 32-year-old nurse wrote alongside a photo of herself on the day in question.
'I tried on five dresses (all different colours) and then this one was picked for me.'
