Australian actress Olivia Deeble is well known for playing Raffy Morrison on the iconic soap Home and Away from 2016 to 2019. And now, the 19-year-old is celebrating the release of her new Audible series, The Orchard, which also stars the likes of Eric Bana, Magda Szubanski and Gary Sweet. Speaking to Daily Mail Australia this week, Olivia revealed what it was like working Eric and her famous co-stars on the supernatural murder-mystery podcast. Speaking about Eric, 53, she said: 'I got to see him a little bit, he's lovely, I've always been a really big fan of his.' 'He's hilarious and I think he's incredible and I was really excited to work with him. Unfortunately because of Covid-19 we had to keep distance - one person came in and one went out [in the recording studio].' 'I have an expectation I put on myself that I can be as hardworking as them, and especially as my grandfather recently passed, I want to keep his name spoken about and highly regarded,' she sweetly said. Olivia plays a schoolgirl named Thalia Olivia said that making the Audible series was both enjoyable and quite hard work, because of the focus on the voice while recording and no actual camera or visual scenes. 'It was a lot more tiring endurance-wise than I was expecting, because you're trying so hard with your voice. You're focusing all your energy on your voice and lines,' Olivia explained. 'It's just really different and really different to screen as well. I'm dyslexic, something I've struggled with for a while and because it's an audio book. And with acting, it's okay if your line isn't 100 per cent as you have a visual component, but because you're telling a story, you have to be really clear with what you're saying,' she said. 'There was a lot of prep time.' How to learn lines really quickly and be flexible.' She finished: 'The home and away fans are so dedicated and lovely and I'm so appreciative of my time on there - I had amazing mentors, Emily Symons and James Stewart.'
