Cristiano Ronaldo's mum Dolores Aveiro, 66, has shot down rumours that she has a rocky relationship with her son's partner Georgina Rodriguez. 

Speaking on the Sporting Lisbon podcast, the doting mum gushed that Georgina was a 'good girl' and a 'great support' to the Man United striker.   

The father-of-four Ronaldo met Buenos Aires-born Georgina, 27, when she was working as a sales assistant in Gucci in Madrid five years ago and has been loved-up ever since.

Appearing to rubbish reports she doesn’t always see eye-to-eye with the stunning brunette, Dolores said: 'Yes, yes, she’s a good girl.' 

Dolores also admitted that although Cristiano is an 'exemplary father' he has lots of help from his partner and a team of nannies.

She revealed: 'Cristiano is an exemplary father but he has people to help. The children have nannies and they have staff who do a lot of things. 

'Four kids are a lot of work. Georgina is a great support to Cristiano, no doubt about it.'

Dolores also revealed she lost her sense of smell and taste after a life-threatening stroke last year - but insisted her love of football remains unaffected.
