Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings is slated to become the highest-grossing movie of the coronavirus pandemic this Friday.
In doing so it will overtake its fellow Marvel superhero movie Black Widow starring Scarlett Johansson, according to a report in Deadline.
Black Widow was released in theaters and on Disney+ simultaneously - prompting Scarlett to sue Disney - while Shang-Chi came out exclusively in theaters.

By Wednesday of this week Black Widow had earned $183.4 million domestically while Shang-Chi had made $181.8 million, Box Office Mojo reports.
Shang-Chi had sailed ahead to $183.2 million by this Thursday and now Deadline have predicted it will surpass Black Widow by Friday.
Last week it emerged that Disney would be sticking to an exclusively theatrical release for a minimum of 45 days on the rest of its slate for this year.
