The Hollywood veteran, 66, and his longtime partner posed beside one another lovingly on the red carpet, before mingling with director Joel Coen and Washington's costar Frances McDormand.
Denzel and Pauletta, have been happily married since 1983 and welcomed four children during the span of their nearly 40 year union. The couple's eldest son John David has since followed in his famous father's footsteps.

The Tragedy Of Macbeth, which is filmed in black-and-white, is an adaptation of Shakespeare's legendary play, with Denzel starring as the title character while Frances plays his wife — and the author of his downfall — Lady Macbeth.
The film is a departure for Joel, who normally directs writes, directs and produces his films with his brother Ethan Coen.
It debuted to rapturous critical praise and currently sports an impressive 100 percent fresh rating from critics surveyed by Rotten Tomatoes.
