But one enterprising fan took matters into their own hands this week, driving down to the set in Melbourne's south-east to capture footage of the brand-new façades.

In a spoiler video uploaded to TikTok, the fan filmed the completed homes in Bronte Court, Hampton, and rated them out of 10.

Contestants Mitch Edwards and Mark McKie received eight out of 10 for their 'quaint and cute' house.

However, it was accompanied by the disclaimer: 'Hate the pink door'.

Kirsty Lee Akers and Jesse Anderson, meanwhile, received full points for their 'massive' and 'homey' front garden, plus 'brownie points for totem tennis'.

Twins Josh and Luke Packham only got seven points for their 'waste of space' in the front yard.

The brothers were also docked points for the gum tree they got council permission to remove in order to accommodate their plans.

Returning 'Faves' Ronnie and Georgia Caceres received nothing but praise for their exterior, with the design given 10 out of 10, along with the comment 'would live here'.

The lowest score was reserved for The Block's most controversial couple: Tanya and Vito Guccione.

They got just six points, and while the TikTok super-fan loved 'the mid-century vibe', they hated the wicker porch chair.
