Ariana Grande used the last available block to prevent John Legend from landing a four-chair singer on Monday's episode of The Voice on NBC.

The 28-year-old pop star and John, 42, turned around at the same time for singer Holly Forbes, 30, of Kentucky, but Ariana used her block on her rival coach.  

Kelly Clarkson, 39, and Blake Shelton, 45, also turned around for Holly during her performance of Rocket Man by Sir Elton John.

Holly in her introduction video said she was a caregiver as her full time job, but that she wanted to give singing a try. She said she had a very unique look with her bald head and voice.  

'This might be a dream,' said Holly as she started crying after her performance. 

Blake praised Holly for hitting the 'little notes in the verses' and said he would be proud to be her coach.  

Ariana told Holly that her performance was 'incredibly moving' and reminded her that she used her block for her.

Holly then revealed that her daughter Violet was Ariana's 'biggest fan'.

Kelly also gushed about Holly and told Violet that she was 'really cool, too'.  

Blake told Holly that some children also love 'too much sugar' or 'playing with fire' and it wasn't 'necessarily the best thing'.

The episode ended on a cliffhanger before Holly revealed her pick for a coach. 

Blake made a grand entrance as part three of the blind auditions kicked off by introducing himself over the loudspeaker.

'Your eight time Voice champion Blake Shelton!' he yelled.

'Oh my God,' said Kelly when she heard Blake's grand entrance. Blake then walked through a banner that read 'Blake Shelton #1' The other judges laughed at the theatrics.

Ariana said that all the judges were 'equally exhausted by the confidence of Blake Shelton', but that she thought Blake underestimated her.

'Because I'm new doesn't mean that I won't bring home a winner,' Ariana said.

The first contestant of the night was Raquel Trinidad, 23, from Miami. She currently works as a driver for a ride share company and plays some of her songs when she is driving. She sang 'I Wish' by Stevie Wonder.

Kelly,  John and Ariana all turned their chairs around for her and tried to convince her to join their team.

'I just want you to know you are so incredibly talented,' Kelly said. Raquel picked Ariana.

'I think the world is going to fall in love with her,' Ariana said.

Blake was being very friendly to Ariana and John said he didn't trust him and thought he was up to his old tricks. 

Next, a trio called The Joy Reunion from Redlands, California, took the stage. They said they strived to be rock stars and felt rejuvenated in singing together. They said they prided themselves in calling their style California country. They sang 'Boondocks' by Little Big Town. Blake immediately turned around and John wasn't far behind him.

'Country music is my life. I live it and it and I breathe it.' Blake said.

The band said they couldn't believe that John turned around for them. He said 'shock the world, come to Team Legend.' They went with Blake. He told them they sounded incredible.

'Don't be all braggy, everyone knew they were going to pick you,' Kelly said to Blake. 'You can't brag about that.'

Jasmine Mills, 28, from Springfield, Virginia, a mother of two children, said she wanted to be a role model for her kids. She sang Boyz II Men 'It's So Hard To Say Goodbye.' None of the judges turned around.
