Susanna Reid was left speechless on Tuesday morning's episode of Good Morning Britain when her co-host Alastair Campbell told her to ‘feel his wrinkly apples’ during an impassioned rant about a low-quality Ocado delivery.
The 50-year-old presenter looked unamused as the former Labour press strategist, 64, ranted about the condition of his fruit, which the grocery company attributed to a shortage of pickers, lorry drivers and CO2.
'People will say, "well poor Alastair and his Ocado delivery" argued Susanna as she witheld her sympathy. 'The world's smallest violin has been played for you,' she joked.
