Mel C was left shocked after Beatles star and fellow Liverpudlian Ringo Starr wished her 'peace and love' ahead of her performance on Dancing With The Stars on Monday.
'I just wanted to say best of luck tonight and we are both from Liverpool,' the rock star, 81, said to the Spice Girl who couldn't quite believe what she was seeing.
'It doesn't matter where we live, that is where we are both from,' Ringo continued.

Ringo, who is friends with Mel, delivered his message of support before the singer took to the ballroom floor to dance The Foxtrot to The Beatles' Here Comes The Sun.
Mel did not hear his message until after her performance.
Understandably, the singer was shocked.
'This whole experience is surreal enough and then one of the Beatles is wishing us luck. What is going on?,' she asked.
