Coldplay have recorded a new track with singer Selena Gomez in a bid to reach a younger fan base, it has been reported.
Ready for release imminently, the upcoming single is said to be called Let Someone Go and follows their chart-topping collaboration with Korean teen sensation BTS titled My Universe.
The band - comprised of Chris Martin, 44, Guy Berryman, 43, Will Champion, 43, and Jonny Buckland, 44 - will drop their upcoming album Music of the Spheres on October 15, and the new single will allegedly feature on the project.

A source told The Sun: 'Chris has always been a huge fan of Selena and it's a dream come true that she's finally singing on a Coldplay record.'
They went on to claim that the Paradise hitmaker wrote the single specially for the former Disney Channel star, and they have a 'special live performance' scheduled.
'He wrote a beautiful ballad for her which they recorded together in April.
