Sterling K. Brown has been cast in the leading role in the upcoming Hulu series Washington Black.
The 45-year-old, who will also executive produce the show, will play the role of Medwin Harris in the nine-episode series, which is adapted from the Washington Black novel by Esi Edugyan, Variety reported on Tuesday.
The Hulu show will be written and executive produced by Selwyn Seyfu Hinds, according to the outlet.
