The former Waterloo Road star was joined by editor in chief of French magazine Madame Figaro, Clara Dufour as she made her speech.
It comes after she told Harper's Bazaar UK she 'didn't think anyone was going to care' about Bridgerton and that she thought it would 'just be another project'.
The Trafford-born star - who played Daphne in the steamy Netflix series - explained: 'I thought it was just another project. I didn't think anyone was going to care. We were all in lockdown, stuck at home and nothing changed.
