Jessica Chastain rocks a black cutout gown at a NYC screening of Scenes From A ...

Jessica Chastain ensured all eyes were on her in a figure-hugging gown as she attended a special screening of Scenes From A Marriage on Saturday. 

While gracing the red carpet in a black halter dress with cutouts along her midriff in New York City, the actress oozed confidence as she met up with her on-screen husband Oscar Isaac to get their picture taken together. 

The Golden Globe winner looked pleased as she worked her sexy backless ensemble, which featured two hot pink stripes down the front.  

Meanwhile, her costar, 42, looked handsome in a dark navysuit, black pants and matching loafers.  

Upon seeing each other,  Chastain smiled at him, before placing one hand on his shoulder as they stood an arms-length apart.

Later, they came together and quickly started laughing as they chatted away at the event, which was attended by Chastain's mother Jerri.  

The pair, who are both married to other people, previously sent the internet into a frenzy for displaying 'carpet chemistry' at the Venice Film Festival last month. 

Speaking about the seemingly palpable spark between them, after he planted a kiss on her arm at the event, she explained their history on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert as they 'go way back.'

'We went to college together at Juilliard,' she said.
