Studio 10 hosts Sarah Harris and Beau Ryan have fiercely criticised Home and Away star Sam Frost for refusing the Covid-19 vaccine then trying to play the victim.

The actress, 32, posted a tearful video to Instagram on Saturday in which she tried to justify her decision to remain unvaccinated and even claimed she was suffering mental health issues because of people 'judging' her.

This led to widespread backlash that resulted in her deleting her account.

Sarah, 40, had no sympathy for Sam, pointing out that she had spent the lockdown working on Home and Away while other Sydneysiders had to stay at home.

'She gets to film Home and Away on the gorgeous beach... and there are people who have been locked down for quite literally months on end,' she said.

She also noted that many people 'don't have jobs to go to and they see people getting vaccinated as the only way out [of lockdown].'

Sarah took particular issue with Sam's claim that there are 'a lot of different reasons' for people to refuse the vaccine.

'No, there's one [reason],' said Harris. 'A medical exemption.'

Despite claiming she has spoken to a doctor and psychologist about her concerns regarding the vaccine, it's understood Sam does not a medical exemption.

Beau also said Sam had invited much of the criticism by putting out her video in the first place.

'You don't wish this [trolling] upon anyone, but she has done the video,' the former NRL star said.

However, co-host Tristan MacManus defended the former Bachelorette, saying she is entitled to reject the vaccine and express her opinion about it.

'If that's what you feel, you should be able to say it,' he said.

The latest wave of criticism comes amid claims the cast of Home and Away are concerned for Sam's welfare.

Following the backlash against her video, the reality TV star-turned-actress deactivated her main Instagram account and blocked all comments on the account for her mental health charity Believe By Sam Frost.

Entertainment reporter Peter Ford shared an update on Sam's wellbeing during an appearance on Channel Seven's The Morning Show earlier on Monday.

Ford, who is employed by the same network as Sam, said: 'There were some people who reached out to [Sam] privately, including members of the Home and Away cast, concerned for her welfare and just to be sure she's okay and talk her through this.'

'Maybe not necessarily talk her around [into getting the vaccine], but she was silly to put this out there because the blowback was very mean-spirited and cruel,' he added.

On Sunday night, Channel Seven clarified the network's stance on Covid-19 vaccines and said Sam was still an employee.
