His highly anticipated film Dune co-starring Zendaya, Oscar Isaac, Jason Momoa and Javier Bardem is set to premiere later this month.

And Timothee Chalamet sat down for a interview with Time magazine ahead of the film's release, where he revealed two rules he lives by 'No hard drugs and no superhero movies.'

The actor, 25, also dodged questions about his Call Me By Your Name co-star Armie Hammer, who was at the center of controversy earlier this year when accounts of his alleged violent sexual fantasies were leaked online, later followed by rape allegations.

He said in the Time cover that an unnamed hero of his, who he declined to name, gave him some advice as an actor.

'One of my heroes- I can't say who or he'd kick my a** - he put his arm around me the first night we met and gave me some advice.'

The advice was: 'No hard drugs. And no superhero movies.'

He did cite his role models as Jennifer Lawrence, Michael B. Jordan and Leonardo DiCaprio during his interview with Time, but it is unknown if he is speaking about Michael or Leo or someone else as the person who gave him that particular advice.

Timothee said in the interview: 'I totally get why you're asking that but it's a question worthy of a larger conversation, and I don't want to give you a partial response.'
