Sam Burgess broke down in tears on Monday episode of SAS Australia, after he was given the morbid task of writing a 'death letter' to his family.
And Sam's ex-wife Phoebe, 32 has revealed she suffered her own emotional rollercoaster this week, after one of the pair's children became injured right before bedtime.
Posting to Instagram Stories on Tuesday, the single mother shared a black-and-white photo of her daughter Poppy, four, and son Billy, two, cuddling together on a bed.

'It's our nightly pre-bed book reading routine... pops and I wanted to surprise Billy with the new books we chose him today,' Phoebe began her lengthy caption.
'So as they were tearing up and down the hallway like wildlings (ahem GOT reference, soz) tackling each other, even drawing blood after a rogue foot caused a tongue biting incident (#drama), I tucked into the hallway to grab the books... then silence (cue freak out).'
Alarmed, Phoebe ran back into the room, bracing for the worst.

However, she was pleasantly surprised.
'I rushed back to find them in my bed, cuddling... like this. Poppy told me she was being mummy to Billy while I wasn't there in case he got sore,' she revealed.
'OK, I'm doing something right. Pure joy. Total, peace,' she added.
