Tori Spelling shared a heartfelt tribute to her late Beverly Hills, 90210 castmate, Luke Perry, to her Instagram account on Monday, on what would have been his 54th birthday.
The 48-year-old actress' post featured a throwback shot of her and the deceased performer, who was seen affectionately planting a kiss on her cheek as she flashed a wide smile.
In her tribute, the actress notably recalled an instance where the Once Upon A Time In Hollywood actor 'stood up for me fiercely' when he intervened on her behalf during an argument with a 'verbally abusive' ex.

Spelling began her message by expressing that her former costar, who passed away in 2019 after suffering a massive stroke, was well remembered and that he made a considerable impact on her life.
'You are missed so much. Not a day goes by that I don't think about you,' she wrote.
The actress went on to discuss her early days in the entertainment industry and pointed out that Perry stood out from many of his counterparts by treating her with respect on and off set.
'I remember meeting you as a young insecure teen girl. You were the first boy to ever make me feel worth as a human, a female , and a comedienne,' she recalled.
Spelling then described an incident when her late friend defended her from one of her former partners who had made a habit of mistreating her during their time together.
