Jamie Lee Curtis dressed as her iconic mother Janet Leigh when she attended the costume party premiere of her new movie Halloween Kills in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
The swank affair welcomed a slew of stars when it was held at the legendary TCL Chinese Theatre, formerly known as Grauman's, in Hollywood.
Specifically Jamie Lee was dressed as her mother's role of Marion Crane in the 1960 Alfred Hitchcock classic Psycho, in which she is murdered by Anthony Hopkins' character Norman Bates.

Norman stabs Marion to death in the shower, and in a nod to that scene Jamie posed up a storm on the black carpet with a bloody shower curtain slung over one arm.
Jamie Lee, whose father was Some Like It Hot heartthrob Tony Curtis, posed in pitch-perfect period attire including a wig unmistakably of the era.
She has been the leading lady of the Halloween franchise since the original instalment in 1978 which was directed by John Carpenter who also composed the memorable score.
Another guest at the premiere was Kyle Richards, who featured in the first Halloween as a child actress and is making her grand return to the franchise in the newest film.

Kyle made a splash at the costume premiere as a saucy circus ringmaster, complete with gold and scarlet epaulettes and a top hat with feathers.
These days Kyle is starring on The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills and for Tuesday night's black carpet she was joined by her co-stars Dorit Kemsley, Kathy Hilton and Lisa Rinna.
Kathy, who happens to also be Kyle's sister, was dressed as a dentist who goes by Hunky Dory DDS and arrived in full uniform including a trayful of supplies.
Meanwhile Lisa, who has been a showstopping presence on the program for years, pranced around the black carpet dressed as a large pink bunny rabbit.

True to form: Lisa's ensemble included makeup to give her a rodent nose and a set of whiskers, but her signature cropped hairdo from her days as a 1990s soap star was still visible under the bunny ears
