I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! won't feature spin-off show Daily Drop, with ITV axing it after just one year.

The show aired on the ITV hub and was hosted by Vick Hope, who now presents a prime time weekday show on BBC Radio 1 with Jordan North, a contestant on last year's I'm A Celeb.

But neither Vick nor Jordan will be involved this year, with ITV confirming that 'the Daily Drop won't be returning this year'.

A spokesperson for the show said: 'We'd like to thank Vick Hope and everyone involved in the show last year for bringing fans of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! all the latest news and gossip.'

The show was a replacement for I'm A Celebrity: Extra Camp, which aired on ITV2 and was axed in 2020.

The axing of Extra Camp came as a shock to viewers, who had enjoyed it for 17 years, since the main show's inception.

It's most recent hosting line-up featured former contestants Adam Thomas, Joel Dommett and Emily Atack.

This marks the first time in I'm A Celeb's 19-year tenure that a spin-off series isn't scheduled to air.

The news comes as two veteran soap stars were rumoured to have signed up to compete on this year's series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

Coronation Street star Simon Gregson - who plays Steve McDonald - and EastEnders actor Adam Woodyatt - who portrays Ian Beale - have allegedly signed on for the show, set to air next month from Gwrych Castle in Abergel, Wales.

According to The Sun, ITV are hoping that Simon, 47, and Adam, 53, will 'provide some real comedy moments together'.

'To have both Simon and Adam on this series is a real coup. Bosses think they’ll provide some real comedy moments together,' a source told the publication.

'Bosses know Corrie fans will get right behind him. Everyone knows Simon as Steve but now they’ll get to see a completely different side of him for the first time.

'Simon has previously shunned all reality shows and he has turned down I’m A Celeb a number of times before. But now his children are older, Simon started to think the timing was right.'

The show often features Corrie stars, with Simon's on-screen mother Liz, played by Beverley Callard, taking part last year.

Mailonline has approached ITV representatives for comment.
