Bardot was one of the biggest girl bands in Australia after being formed on Popstars back in 1999. 

And despite having incredible success with hits including the song Poison, it was short-lived, with the group dismantling in early 2002. 

And now, former members Katie Underwood and Belinda Chapple have spoken about the group's split in a new chat with News.com.au.

After the band's manager David Caplice told the publication last year that the band split after plenty of 'infighting,' the girls hit back in their new interview. 

'I thought it was quite interesting, because I've found that it completely conflicted with my experience,' Belinda said. 

'And in one moment he said we were constantly fighting, and then in the next moment he's saying, ''I want to manage them and put them on a big comeback tour!''
