The Block's Josh Packham calls out rivals Kirsty and Jesse's dodgy tactics

The Block: Fans v Faves has been dominated by cheating headlines.

And now another major cheating scandal is brewing, with contestant Josh Packham taking to his Instagram Stories on Thursday to level accusations at rivals Kirsty and Jesse.

The 27-year-old, who competes on the renovation competition alongside twin brother Luke, then took things a step further by claiming the show's producers were complicit in the scandal.

In his online tirade, the Love Island Australia star said he had added up each team's budget and found that he and his brother had so far spent $211,000 on renovations over the first nine weeks of the show.

However he alleged that Kirsty Lee Akers and Jesse Anderson had spent $282,000 in the same time frame. 

According to Josh, 'that would make them $70,000 over the given budget.' 

He then suggested that the budget overages forced producers to give the couple more money so that they could complete their renovations.

'Being a producer, I don't blame them, you're probably going to have to give them more money to finish their back yard and their property.'

'It's all smoke and mirrors on this show. There's rules for some, there's [different] rules for others.'

Speaking of the uphill battle he and his brother faced, Josh said 'We're not just taking on Kirsty and Jesse, we're taking on the show.' 

The candid social media tirade comes after suspicions rose on Wednesday's episode of The Block, as all teams continued to question how Kirsty and Jesse had so much money to spend on their huge property.

During the episode, twins Josh and Luke raged that they wanted to see 'an audit' of everything the couple had spent to put their minds at ease.

'We've decided enough is enough. We need an audit. There needs to be an audit,' Luke said to the camera.
