Menulog launched a highly successful advertising campaign with Snoop Dogg last year. 

But the American hip hop star won't return for the slate of upcoming ads for the food delivery service. 

Menulog Marketing Director Simon Cheng confirmed the company wants to support the local music scene.

'It's the perfect time for it,' he told 6PR Breakfast on Friday. 

'There's been a lot of industries impacted, the hospitality industry is one of them, but the local music industry has been decimated by the happening of the last 18 months.

'When has there been a better time to be supporting the local music scene, to be getting four of the best and brightest in Australia in our next campaign to redo the jingle.'
