Adele's 2011 album 21 is the biggest selling UK album ever, BBC Radio 2's Official All-time Female Artist Chart revealed on Saturday.
The news comes as after the singer, 33, released her new single Easy On Me on Friday and ahead of her upcoming album 30, which is set for release on 19 November
BBC Radio 2 host Jo Whiley said of the news: 'Adele has enchanted us from the very beginning with her voice, her songs and her personality.
