The Walking Dead: World Beyond: Hope Bennett finally reunites with long-lost ...

Hope Bennett was reunited with her sister Iris Bennett on Sunday's episode of The Walking Dead: World Beyond on AMC.

Despite being safely inside the walls of the Civic Republic Military compound, Hope insisted that Jennifer 'Huck' Mallick Huck risk everything to launch a covert and dangerous mission to rescue Iris and her friends 

The episode titled 'Exit Wounds,' which was directed by Aisha Tyler, started with Elton Ortiz [Nicolas Cantu] and Percy [Ted Sutherland] riding a horse through a field searching for the others. Instead, they came across two teenagers sitting around a fire eating.

'When was the last time we ate?' said Percy as they hid behind a tree. 

Percy told Elton that they needed to steal all of their food. Elton tried to stop him and instead went to talk to the teens about just giving them food. The teens were wary and turned their knives on him and searched him for weapons. He told the girl, who later revealed that her name was Asha [Madelyn Kientz] and was with her brother Dev [Abubakr Ali], that he was just hungry and wanted food.

Asha handed him some turnips and water but when she turned around she saw that Percy was trying to steal all of their food. She called them both con men and Elton and Percy ran off.

Asha and Dev chased after them through the woods but then had to stop to kill the zombies that surrounded them. Percy and Elton used that opportunity to run back to try again to steal their food.

Elton though slipped in the woods on what appeared to be leaves but turned out to be a hidden pile of zombies. Percy tried to help him but then a zombie grabbed his legs. Asha and Dev showed up just in time to save them and kill the zombies.

At first Asha thought that Elton had been bitten and wanted to cut off his arm, but then he showed her that his three-piece corduroy suit was actually bite proof because it was industrial grade corduroy. Asha and Dev then tied Percy and Elton up and Asha took Elton's suit coat.

Asha, wearing the tan corduroy jacket, sat down and carved out the zombie's eyes and put flowers inside one of the empty sockets. She also said a prayer over them and said it helped release their souls. Asha and Dev then loaded Percy and Elton into a horse drawn carriage and carted them away. Once they approached an area that had signs warning that they were entering a nuclear fallout zone, Asha and Dev put on gas masks and put hoods over Percy and Elton's heads.

Over at the Civic Republic Military [CRM] compound, Hope [Alexa Mansour] tried to adjust to her new surroundings. She ran through the compound to keep in fighting shape and stared at the soldiers guarding the compound with distrust.

Meanwhile, Huck and Dennis [Max Osinski] were in bed together. When they got dressed, Dennis asked her if it was her mother's idea to send her away without telling him. She said she had to go to try and fix things after what he did.

'There had to be consequences,' said Huck.

Dennis told her that he had already been paying the price by being pulled from active duty and having to work decontamination. He told her it wasn't his job that he was trying to get back while looking at her. Huck didn't reply. When he was leaving he asked Huck outside if she would have dinner with him later and she told him that she would think about it. Hope saw Dennis and Huck together and shook her head knowingly at Huck.

Huck, dressed in her army fatigues, went to an CRM hearing where she was told that her two-year secret mission in Nebraska had been reviewed. She was commended for delivering 'the asset' with minimal expenditures. She received praise for her work and was told in light of her efforts to further the priorities of the CRM that she was allowed to return to active duty.

Dr. Leo Bennet [ Joe Holt] confronted her as she walked out of the hearing and told her that Iris and Felix Carlucci [Nico Tortorella] weren't where she told him they would be. He accused her of manipulating him and Hope. She promised to bring Iris and Felix to the CRM compound.
