And Michelle Heaton has shared her story once again as she celebrated in preparation of her her six month sobriety next week with a new tattoo.

The Liberty X star, 42, took to Instagram on Tuesday to commemorate the milestone by sharing a close up of her forearm - which now depicts a feather surrounded by the opening words of the serenity prayer, commonly used to close 12-step meetings.

Continuing in her open book fashion, the singer shared: 'God grant me the serenity….Today I got this tattoo by the legend Lal at @newwavetattoo who has done the most amazing art work on my body in the past.

'It’s a celebration to myself that in a week I am six months clean and sober - and completing my #12steps. It’s not been easy, I’ve found myself in every day pain and struggles, but that’s life.

'And today I don’t drink or use on those things. I now accept the #serenityprayer and I now have a life beyond my wildest dreams.
