And Issa Rae brought the glamour on Thursday night as she led star arrivals at the comedy-drama series' premiere in Los Angeles.
The 36-year-old leading lady turned heads in a clingy tan dress with color coordinating ostrich feathers lining the hem and wrists.

The fitted number's criss-cross neckline created a large cut-out in the front, allowing Issa to showcase her toned tummy, as well as a tasteful amount of underboob, on the red carpet.
The LA native's slipped her feet into a pair of strappy gold heels and accessorized with a pair of chunky diamond earrings.
Her brunette hair was slicked back and styled into a gorgeous double braid that flowed down her back.
As for makeup, Rae rocked a dramatic smokey eyeshadow look and applied a generous amount of clear lip gloss to her pout.

She was later joined by her second in command Yvonne Orji, who plays Issa's BFF Molly Carter on the hit series, who dazzled in a pair of purple flared trousers and a pale pink bustier.

Issa created Insecure with her writing pal Larry Wilmore and draws inspiration from her popular web series Awkward Black Girl, which premiered on YouTube in 2011.
