She opened the doors to her $9.5million LA home for fans to take part in Vogue's much loved 73 Questions series. 

And as well as revealing her favourite fashion icon and whether she prefers to wear heels or sliders, Adele shared how she handled being recognised in public. 

The Grammy Award-winning singer, 33, admitted that she doesn't love fame, but joked that it's harder for people to realise it's her when she's out and about, as she looks like a 'bald eagle' without her usual stage glam.

Showing off her sense of humour in the 18-minute long clip, that saw Adele give a tour of her beautiful home across the pond, Adele teased she is like a different person when she's going about her day-to-day. 

Comparing herself to a bald eagle, she said: 'I don't love [being recognised in public], but ever since 21 came out really... my hair gets bigger, my make-up gets thicker and my dresses get bigger. 

'So that I practically look like a bald eagle or something like that in day-to-day life.' 

Hit with a series of quick fire 'this or that' questions, fans watched on as Adele chose Prince Harry over Prince William, the Spice Girls over The Beatles and Liam Gallagher over his brother Noel.

She also shared that she'd love to see Barbara Streisand cover one of her songs and her dream duet partner would be country singer and Tennessee Whiskey hit-maker Chris Stapleton. 

In the interview, Adele also opened up on swapping London for Los Angeles, as she revealed she 'loves being' in the US as it makes her feel 'very calm'.

Not forgetting her British roots, however, Adele revealed she has tried to make her home in LA feel like 'the English countryside'.
