Serena Williams stunned as she attended South African model Candice Swanepoel's 33rd birthday in New York City on Thursday.
The tennis champion, 40, slipped her athletic figure into an eye-catching red and black patterned playsuit, which she teamed with comfy blue and red sneakers.
Accompanied by pal and retired Danish tennis star Caroline Wozniacki, Serena appeared in great spirits as they left exclusive social club Zero Bond.

Serena added a touch of designer in the form of a Gucci shoulder bag, and accessorised further with statement rings on her fingers and a pendant necklace.
Her brunette tresses were styled out and in tight curls, and her makeup was ultra glamorous, consisting of subtle kohl-lined eyes, mascara and a deep red lip.
Caroline, 31, looked chic in a black top tucked into skinny-leg jeans, paired with a blue and khaki tweed jacket and black military-style boots.

Serena also took to her Instagram Story to share footage from earlier on in the night, where she posed with husband Alexis Ohanian, 38.
She revealed her toned legs in a very revealing black lycra dress with bead tassels, and opted for comfort with her red and blue sneakers after a fashion mishap.
'When your heels get stuck in the escalator... never leave home without my Serena Design Crew @nikes,' she captioned the snap.
