ZaraLena is now preparing to undergo UVB phototherapy, also known as 'Light Therapy' or 'Phototherapy', which has had mixed results as a treatment for alopecia.
UVB works by penetrating the skin and slowing the growth of affected skin cells. UVB Narrowband phototherapy is used for the treatment of several common skin diseases, including alopecia.
