Tom Fletcher has clearly been putting in the hours in during dance rehearsal as he showcased his ripped torso in an Instagram post on Friday.

The McFly band member, 36, stripped down to a pair of shorts for 'a good old spray tan' in preparation for his salsa performance during Saturday's episode of Strictly Come Dancing.

Striking a pose while displaying a pair of rarely seen tattoos, including an unmissable star on his chest, he wore his light brown locks in a tousled hairdo.

The singer wrote in his caption, 'Ok, I know it's not very "me" posting a shirtless pic (says the man who's been naked on the cover Attitude mag).

'But in the name of finding my inner sexiness for the salsa tomorrow (which has a pool party theme) I'm back to the good old spray-tan this week and very happy about it,' he concluded. 

Tom and his dance partner Amy Dowden were both forced to miss the show two weeks ago after announcing they'd tested positive for coronavirus. 

A crisis meeting is said to have been held after Tom and his partner Amy tested positive for Covid despite having been double-jabbed.
