On Friday, the day after her outing, Lala looked triumphant on Instagram as she celebrated marking three years of sobriety.
She posted a playful photo of herself against a pink background with a plastic crown, piercing blue eyeliner and a black vinyl outfit.
'Today marks 3 years of sobriety. I can’t believe it,' she wrote, while thanking God and her late father for placing her on the right path.
'I’m grateful for my sober coach & my sponsor who I consider angels,' she continued. 'I’m grateful for the program & the men and women who have shared their stories so honestly, giving me hope and inspiration to continue to never pick up a drink again.
Although she still had to take it 'one day at a time,' she had 'never felt so strong' in her sobriety.
'It’s the proudest thing I have ever done, aside from becoming a mother. My first priority is always my sobriety,' she wrote. 'It comes before everything — because without it, I am of no use.'
'I love you all so much. I hope you know that,' she concluded, adding the hashtag, '#happybirthdaytome.'
