The Block host Scott Cam has confirmed the show will be heading to the country.

The 58-year-old told Nova's Fitzy & Wippa on Monday, the 2022 series of the show will be filmed in a regional town.

'I might get in trouble for saying this but we are going regional. Bit of a tree change which will be something different. I'm really excited about it,' Scott said.

'I can't give you much more information than that but we are definitely getting out of the city next year.'

He added: 'I'm looking forward to doing the walk around for the visits on horseback!'
