The former Studio 10 host, 51, revealed on Tuesday that her family's grey and white furry friend has a 'nasty' form of cancer and her days are numbered.

Posting a series of sweet snaps of Violet on Instagram, she wrote: 'Spending as much time with Violet as we can.
'She has nasty cancer and will be joining Alfie at the rainbow bridge soon.'
She added that Violet was the 'best bell ringer in town' in her tribute.
Jessica is a self-confessed 'crazy cat lady' and has thrown Violet some epic birthday parties over the years.
