Great British Bake Off viewers were left disheartened to see Amanda become the latest baker sent home on Tuesday's episode.
This week's pastry challenge proved a difficult one for the contestants as they were faced with three trials to keep their place on the Channel 4 series.
Amanda, 56, and George, 34, both struggled while creating a pastry terrine pie for the Showstopper challenge.

Both of their pies took too long to cook and ended up collapsing after being taken out of the oven.
Amanda ended up being the one sent packing and, speaking after her elimination, said: 'You've got to go some time haven't you?'
'I didn't think when I got here I'd get that far after seeing all the other bakers. But I've had such a good time.'
