Adam Levine is setting the record straight after a fan interrupted Maroon 5's concert at the Hollywood Bowl on October 23.

The 42-year-old frontman appeared in a video posted to his Instagram Stories on Tuesday in which he clarified that his seemingly angry reaction to a woman trying to hug him on stage was just because he was 'startled.'

The singer also made it clear that his band 'loves, respects,' and 'worships' its fans.
