He won a surprise Academy Award for Best Actor earlier this year.

And Anthony Hopkins was seen getting back to business on Wednesday as he filmed a scene for his upcoming period drama Armageddon Time in New York.

Hopkins had on an old-fashioned look with a black overcoat over a charcoal suit with brown leather shoes.

His costume featured a red tie for a splash of color, and his character wore a rumpled gray hat.

During the scene, Repeta appeared to approach Hopkins, who pointed at him and had a conversation in front of the cameras before they shared a tender hug on the park bench.

Repeta's costume consisted of an olive down jacket with slim khaki pants and black-and-white trainers.

His most recent film was the science fiction epic Ad Astra, starring Brad Pitt as an astronaut traveling to Neptune to investigate mysterious power surges that have caused havoc on Earth and which may be related to the disappearance of his father astronaut father (played by Tommy Lee Jones).

The film was a hit with critics, who praised its colorful visuals and Pitt's performance, though the film failed to make a profit.

Gray appears to be going back to his roots with Armageddon Time, which is a coming-of-age story inspired by his early teen years growing up in Queens.
