The 27-year-old Iranian-born actor was spotted leaving a store in Thousand Oaks, California on Wednesday afternoon.
It was reported on Thursday morning that he had landed a role alongside Mel Gibson and Kevin Dillon in a new action-thriller entitled Hot Seat.

He was also carrying his headphone and a water bottle while checking his phone during his strol.
He completed his look with black sunglasses as he left the store.

Asghari signed on to the action-thriller Hot Seat with Kevin Dillon, with Mel Gibson previously attached to star.
The film, from Lionsgate's Grindstone Entertainment, follows a former hacker (Dillon) who is forced to hack into banking institutions by a mystery man who planted a bomb under his seat.
Gibson plays the man trying to navigate through a dangerous building full of traps to save the hacker, though it's unclear what Asghari's role in the film will be.
