Adele Roberts has given fans an update on her heath after undergoing surgery to remove a tumour following her bowel cancer diagnosis.
The BBC Radio 1 DJ, 42, told her Instagram followers she felt she had 'turned a corner' after the operation which took place on Monday.
The former I'm A Celebrity star first shared the news on Sunday, a month after learning she had the disease after noticing symptoms.

Sharing a photo for the first time from her hopsital bed on Thursday, Adele told her concerned followers: 'Just a quick note to say thank you to everyone. You've been absolutely incredible! So kind, sending good wishes and looking after my family.'
Adele added: 'You are the greatest! You've kept me going. I've had my ups and downs this week but today I really feel like I'm starting to turn a corner and hopefully I'll be well enough to go home soon.
'I'm so sorry I've not been in here much. I've not really been on my phone but my family have been telling me how wonderful everyone has been. You've brought them so much comfort. From the bottom of my heart thank you.'
Sending thanks to her medical team, she added: 'God bless the NHS. I cannot believe how hard they work and how much they care. They're next level – so special.

'Sending you so much love if you're going through a tough time at the moment. Especially if you're living with cancer. There's a few ladies on my ward who are inspiring me everyday. They're warriors – stopped me feeling sorry for myself many a time! Also reminding me that I'm not alone in this and that it could be much worse for me.
'Thank you once again to everyone getting me through. Including the BT Tower!'
The former I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here star went on to detail the small positives she takes from each day, including watching the BT Tower before her radio shows each morning and watching the sun rise as London wakes up.

'I always look out for the message of the day too,' she continued. 'I never realised that one day I'd be watching the sun from the other side.
'Seeing 'Good morning London' everyday has made me so grateful and been my reminder that everything is going to be ok. Had my first solid breakfast watching the day begin this morning.
'Have a great week everyone and please go and see someone if you're worried about anything that's not normal for you. Early detection saves lives. I don't want this little horror taking any more of us.'

Adele took to Instagram on Sunday to make the announcement and said she was going to have surgery on Monday to remove a tumour.
Adele said she was diagnosed at the start of the month, adding 'the outlook is positive' as she encouraged people who have symptoms to see their doctors.
She wrote: 'Ok, there's no easy way to do this and it feels weird, especially posting on social media (I'm going full Black Mirror) but I'm hoping it'll reach anyone who might benefit from seeing it or reading it.
'For a while now I've been struggling with my digestion. Thanks to a conversation I had with my Dad a few years back I went to my GP for a check up.
'I'll be honest, I was embarrassed but I also knew that it could be something serious. So I went just in case. I didn't think anything of it at first and just assumed it might be food sensitivity.
'After a few phone calls I was sent for some examinations and checks. I was then diagnosed with bowel cancer. This was at the start of the month.

'It's all happened so quickly and I'm so sorry to post something like this on here but I hope it helps anyone who might be worrying, or suffering in silence. PLEASE make sure you get checked out if you have ANY concerns.
'The sooner you're able to see your GP or talk to someone the sooner you can get help. If I hadn't I might not be so lucky.'
Adele went on to praise the NHS and said that is going to give her treatment 'everything' she has got.
She said: 'As I've learned over the last few weeks, there's no 'normal' with cancer. Sadly it can affect anyone, at any age, anytime. It doesn't discriminate. Early detection can save your life.

'The NHS have been INCREDIBLE. They're heroes. I'm going to have surgery tomorrow to remove the tumour and then see if I need anymore treatment or if the cancer has spread.
'So far the outlook is positive and I feel so lucky that I can be treated. It's just the start of my journey but I'm going to give it everything I've got.
